NANJO, Okinawa Pref. (Kyodo) Sakura Yokomine on Thursday reiterated plans to concentrate on her bid to regain the Japan LPGA money title by limiting overseas tournament appearances.

Yokomine finished a distant second to South Korea's Ahn Sun Ju in 2010 earnings, and half of last year's 34 events were won by foreign players.

"We Japanese must win tournaments in our country," Yokomine told a news conference Thursday, a day before the start of the season-opening Daikin Orchid Ladies.

Last year, Yokomine played in six U.S. LPGA events while winning twice in Japan, down from six in her money title-winning season of 2009.
