KAWASAKI (Kyodo) Juninho's future at Kawasaki Frontale could be in doubt after the Brazilian striker failed to report for the start of preseason training on Thursday.
Juninho is not yet back from Brazil and has not offered an explanation for his absence.
"I want to do things by the book and listen to what he (Juninho) has to say when he comes back," senior Frontale official Haruo Shoji said. "I don't want this to result in him leaving the club, but if he doesn't want to play then who knows."
Juninho, who joined the club in 2003, won the J. League Golden Boot in 2007.
