YOKOSUKA, Kanagawa Pref. (Kyodo) Yokohama All-Stars Shuichi Murata and Seiichi Uchikawa are undecided about whether to test the free agency market this winter as the future of the BayStars continues to hang in the balance.

Both Murata and Uchikawa took part in fall workouts that started at the farm team's training complex Wednesday.

The two infielders said they have not yet decided whether to exercise their rights to free agency because of the BayStars' proposed sale to JS Group Corp., a housing equipment firm.

A day earlier, the JS Group said the team's setup next season, including its name, home and manager, remain completely undecided, contrary to what owner Kiyoshi Wakabayashi previously said about the BayStars staying in Yokohama and Takao Obana returning as skipper.
