VENLO, Netherlands (Kyodo) Keisuke Honda's rich vein of form continued Saturday as the midfielder scored for the fourth game in a row in VVV Venlo's 2-2 draw at home to FC Groningen in the Dutch first division.

All four goals came in the first 20 minutes, with Venlo taking the lead through Honda's fifth of the season.

Honda beat Groningen goalkeeper Luciano with a free kick from just outside the box, but tight marking from the visitors prevented the former Nagoya Grampus star from causing further damage and they hit back to take a 2-1 lead through quick-fire goals from Nicklas Pedersen and Andreas Granqvist.

Sandro Calabro gave Venlo its fourth consecutive draw since the start of the campaign when he leveled on 20 minutes.
