Yomiuri Giants infielder Michihiro Ogasawara signed Wednesday a salary deal for next year with the Central League club that kept his annual salary at ¥380 million.
Ogasawara, who signed a free agent deal with Yomiuri after the 2006 season, had a .310 batting average, 36 homers and 96 RBIs in 144 games in his second year with the Giants to help them win their second straight league championship.
