CHIBA (Kyodo) Takamasa Anai captured his third title in the men's 100-kg category with a series of convincing wins at the Kodokan Cup national weight class championships Sunday.
Anai deployed an inner-thigh countering maneuver — or "uchimata sukashi" — to topple Tatsuya Takahashi to the mat for an ippon victory in the final at Chiba Port Arena, claiming his first crown since 2006.
