CHIBA (Kyodo) Misato Nakamura beat Yuka Nishida in the women's 52-kg final to win her second consecutive title at the Kodokan Cup national weight-class championships Saturday.

Nakamura, the Beijing Olympics bronze medalist, defeated Nishida on points after last-year's third-place finisher received "shido" reductions for passivity at Chiba Port Arena.

It was Nakamura's third national crown after also claiming the title at 48 kg as a 16-year-old in 2005.

"This was just the start for me. I was able to beat my opponent in grappling for position today," said Nakamura. "I want to keep winning like this as I aim for the gold medal at the 2012 London Olympics."
