Takeshi Tsuji scored the go-ahead run on a Yuichi Honda grounder in the top of the ninth inning as Softbank edged Yomiuri 3-2 at Tokyo Dome to finish atop the interleague standings.

Tsuji started the inning with an infield single off Marc Kroon (1-2) and went on to beat a throw home from Yomiuri second baseman Takayuki Terauchi, who fielded Honda's ground ball.

Naoyuki Omura went 3-for-4 with two RBIs for Softbank. Shinnosuke Abe and Yoshinobu Takahashi homered for Yomiuri, whose winning streak ended at four games.
