Midfielder Keisuke Honda scored his first goal for struggling VVV Venlo on Saturday but was unable to stop them from crashing to a 4-1 defeat at Feyenoord in the Dutch first division. Luigi Bruins gave Feyenoord a fifth-minute lead but deadball specialist Honda restored parity eight minutes later, sweeping home a trademark free kick from 20 meters to open his Venlo account. However, further first-half goals from Giovanni Van Bronckhorst and Michael Mols put Feyenoord in control before Nuri Sahin completed the scoring with the fourth for Shinji Ono's former club.
