Former Japan international Shinji Ono enjoyed a sparkling debut for VfL Bochum on Sunday, setting up both goals in a surprise 2-1 win at Werder Bremen in the German first division. Things got worse for Bremen when Naldo was sent off and Ono completed an astounding turnaround for the visitors when Anthar Yahia headed the winner home from the Japanese star’s corner six minutes from time.
