Chunichi Dragons left-hander Shigeki Noguchi declared free agency Monday, with the Yomiuri Giants and Hanshin Tigers showing interest in acquiring him.
Noguchi indicated that he may find a new home, saying, "I have submitted the necessary documents. Now all I can do is wait." Teams can start negotiations with the free agent on Nov. 9.
This year, he went 3-6 with a 4.00 ERA in 13 games.
