OGAWA, Ibaraki Pref. (Kyodo) New Zealand's David Smail extended his overnight lead to two shots with a 6-under-par 65 in the second round of the Acom International on Friday.
The 35-year-old Smail has a 36-hole total of 13-under 129.
Australian Scott Laycock fired a 63 and moved into a share of second with Takuya Taniguchi, who had a 64.
