Kasumi Fujii retained her overnight lead to claim her second title of the season with a two-shot victory at the Belluna Ladies Cup on Sunday.

Fujii eagled the par-5 15th to highlight a round of 69 at Obatago Golf Club, which also featured two birdies and a bogey, as she held off fellow tour veteran Toshimi Kimura and a string of young prospects with a winning total of 12-under-par 204.

Kimura had a 68 and finished alone in second on 206 while 19-year-old Sakura Yokomine made a final-round charge with a bogey-free 67 that put her in a three-way tie for third on 207 along with Yukari Baba (69) and Mayumi Murai (70).

Hosokawa takes title

TOMOBE, Ibaraki Pref. (Kyodo) Kazuhiko Hosokawa made a clutch par putt on the second extra hole Sunday to win the Japan Golf Tour Championship Shishido Hills Cup for his first title in four years.

Hosokawa beat overnight leader David Smail of New Zealand and Yasuharu Imano in a three-way playoff after they finished the regulation 72 holes tied at 7-under 273 at Shishido Hills Country Club.

Hosokawa sealed the victory with a delicate 6-footer on the decisive playoff hole — the par-4 18th.
