Chunichi starter Domingo Guzman held Yokohama to three runs over eight solid innings as the Dragons edged the BayStars 5-4 at Yokohama Stadium on Friday for their fourth straight win.

Tied 4-all in the top of the ninth, Chunichi scored the go-ahead run on a Yokohama fielding error as the BayStars lost their third straight.

Swallows 7, Tigers 2

Ken Suzuki went 3-for-4 and Atsuya Furuta homered for the third straight game, belting a two-run dinger in the fifth, as Yakult beat Hanshin at Jingu Stadium.

Yakult starter Yuya Kamata picked up the win after holding the Tigers to two runs on eight hits over 6 1/3 innings.

PACIFIC LEAGUE

Fighters 10, Buffaloes 4

Tsuyoshi Shinjo went 5-for-6 with two RBIs to lead Hokkaido Nippon Ham over Osaka Kintetsu at Osaka Dome.

Carlos Mirabal held the Buffaloes to two runs on six hits over 5 1/3 innings for the win.

Marines 5, Hawks 1

Shunsuke Watanabe (10-6) scattered five hits over the distance while striking out seven for the win as Chiba Lotte downed Fukuoka Daiei at Chiba Marine Stadium.

Benny Agbayani belted his 31st homer -- a three-run dinger -- off Hawks starter Kazumi Saito (9-5).
