GEISEI, Kochi Pref. – Overnight leader S.K. Ho of South Korea birdied his final hole to claim a one-shot victory after a final-round 4-under-par 68 at the rain-shortened Japan PGA Championship on Sunday.
The 30-year-old, who has led throughout the event in Kochi Prefecture which was shortened to 54 holes Sunday because of heavy rain, closed on 14-under 202 to claim his second title on the Japanese tour and a check for 22 million yen.
Keiichiro Fukabori carded six birdies against a pair of bogeys in an identical round of 68 to finish alone in second place.
