Hiroyuki Takagi drove home the winning run on a infield single with one out in the 10th inning, giving the Seibu Lions a 3-2 "sayonara" victory over the Chiba Lotte Marines in the Pacific League on Sunday.

Rookie Chikara Onodera (1-0) got three outs in the top of the 10th to claim his first win as a pro while Tsuyoshi Wada hit his second homer in as many days to lead new manger Tsutomu Ito to his first victory of the regular season at Seibu Dome.

At Fukuoka Dome, Arihito Muramatsu connected for a grand slam off former teammate Nagisa Arakaki in the fourth to power Orix over over the defending PL champions. Hisashi Ogura (1-0) won despite allowing four runs in six innings of a 96-pitch outing.

Arakaki (0-1) yielded seven runs and was knocked out in 4 2/3 innings.

At Osaka Dome, Norihiro Nakamura drove in the game winner on a single to left in the bottom of the ninth as Kintetsu edged Nippon Ham.

Tsuyoshi Shinjo gave the Fighters a 5-2 lead with a three-run blast off Toyohiko Yoshida in the top of the ninth.
