Hideto Tanihara picked up his career second victory and a winner's check of 20 million yen when he came from behind to leapfrog four players and win the Asia-Japan Okinawa Open with a 9-under-par 279 total on Sunday.

Tanihara, who teed off with a three-stroke deficit at The Southern Links Golf Club in Okinawa, carded six birdies and three bogeys in a round of 3-under 69 to brush aside a group of seven, including Tsuyoshi Yoneyama and Yusaku Miyazato, tied for second on 282.
