Reigning Winter Asian Games champion Aiko Uemura of Japan finished eighth in the women's moguls final held in Italy on Saturday.
While Norway's Kari Traa won the event with 25.03 points, Uemura, sixth at the Salt Lake City Olympics in 2002, scored a total of 11.5 points for turns, 5.07 points for air and clocked 27.48 seconds to earn 22.83 points. Miyuki Hatanaka was 18th.
