is going to launch a weekly bilingual sports paper this summer, the sports media company has announced.

The newspaper will put more weight on the coverage of international sports, primarily north American sports, than domestic sports news.

"We'd like to establish a new style of sports newspaper," said Toshimasa Kang, the president of the MBO. "One unique thing in our paper is it will have more columns and will be more visual than the current sports papers."

Kang said the paper is set to be published in early June.

The MBO also unveiled its plan to publish a sports data book and sports encyclopedia annually in Japanese.

"Just a few sports have had their own data book and we haven't had a general encyclopedia where you can learn sports technical terms," Kang said. "We think those publications can help develop the Japanese sports business."
