Tokyo Verdy has signed former Japan midfielder Takashi Hirano on a full transfer from Vissel Kobe, Verdy officials said Monday.
A member of the Japan squad that made its World Cup debut in France in 1998, Hirano has scored 45 goals in a total of 260 J. League appearances.
In other transfer news, Shimizu S-Pulse announced the signing of Brazilian striker Tuto on a full deal from Urawa.
