J. League champions Kashima Antlers are on the verge of elimination from the Asian Club Championship after losing 2-0 to holders Suwon Bluewings in the quarterfinals on Tuesday.

Seo Jung Won opened the scoring for the South Korean side 10 minutes after the break and Son Dae Ho took advantage of errors from the Kashima defense to settle the match eight minutes from time.

In a later game, Dalian drew 1-1 with Anyang Cheetahs, leaving both teams in equal second place on two points.
