A series of romantic novels by four Thai writers, portraying love stories in Kagawa Prefecture, was launched last week at Thailand's national book fair. There are hopes that it will draw Thai tourists to Japan's smallest prefecture.
The novel series, "Kagawa, Let Love Lead," consists of four different love stories named after four locations in the prefecture: "Shodoshima Forever," "Destiny in Kotohira," "Sweet Ogi-Megi" and "Winter Love in Takamatsu."
Sponsored by Kagawa Prefecture, the four novelists traveled to those locations to find inspiration for their stories.
