Panasonic Corp. is planning to start network security services to protect businesses, schools, and government offices from attacks to obtain confidential information through the Internet, sources familiar with the matter said Friday.
The consumer electronics maker is hoping to generate ¥100 million revenue in fiscal 2015 from the new business expected to be undertaken by Panasonic Solution Technologies Co., a group company.
