Honda Motor Co. has delivered its first electric vehicle prototype to the Saitama Prefectural Government to get feedback from government employees and residents selected to drive it.
The Fit EV is modeled on the company's popular Fit subcompact. It is equipped with a lithium-ion battery and can go 210 km on a single charge, Honda said. The company plans to launch the product next summer.
