NAGOYA (Kyodo) Toyota Motor Corp. will delay the sale of new minivan and wagon versions of the Prius hybrid planned for late April until a yet-to-be-decided date due to the massive quake and tsunami that have disrupted its parts procurement, company officials said Wednesday.

The decision was made because assembly work at Toyota car plants remains suspended as the supply chain for vital components has been thrown into disarray by the magnitude 9.0 temblor and tsunami on March 11 that devastated the Tohoku region, the officials said.
