Akina Nakamori, a veteran pop singer who graced TV shows and dramas in the 1980s and 1990s, will suspend her activities due to fatigue and health problems, her agency said.
Nakamori, 45, has decided to take a rest “for the time being as her immune system has weakened as a result of the accumulation of fatigue,” the agency said in a statement put up on its website Thursday, without disclosing further information, including identifying her malady.
