U.S. auto regulators will conduct tests on Toyota Motor Corp.'s Lexus GX 460 sport utility vehicle in response to a U.S. consumer magazine's claim the model poses a rollover risk, U.S. media reported Thursday.

"My compliance staff is going to take a look at several of these vehicles, including the test vehicle that was used at Consumer Reports," David Strickland, National Highway Traffic Safety Administration chief, was quoted as telling reporters in Detroit.
