Democratic Party of Japan lawmaker Tomohiro Ishikawa, a former aide to party strongman Ichiro Ozawa, has admitted to intentionally omitting ¥400 million used in a Tokyo land deal from Ozawa’s funds reports, investigative sources said Saturday.

Ishikawa, 36, who was arrested Friday, is suspected of receiving an illegal political donation in connection with a land purchase by Ozawa’s fund management body, Rikuzankai.
