Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama’s Cabinet plans to approve an outline of fiscal 2010 tax reform proposals next Tuesday, including a greater gift tax exemption, a Cabinet member said Friday.

Senior Vice Finance Minister Naoki Minezaki told reporters that members of the Cabinet will try to narrow differences over pending issues, including whether to abolish part of the gasoline and other automobile-linked taxes, over the weekend to aim for the endorsement Tuesday.
