A teenager practicing archery at a public hall in Meguro Ward, Tokyo, was struck in the forehead by an arrow launched by a fellow member of his high school archery club, police said.

The 16-year-old was listed in serious condition.

The accident occurred around 4:45 p.m. Wednesday when the two students, who attend a private high school in Minato Ward, were practicing archery alone. The police said the victim pulled the arrow out from "between his eyebrows" by himself.
