Twelve people in Fukuoka and Shiga prefectures were confirmed Sunday as having swine flu, bringing Japan’s total to 432 cases since the outbreak started.
The Fukuoka Municipal Government reported that 11 young people there — five junior high school students and six elementary school students — tested positive for the new H1N1 strain of influenza A.
