OSAKA (Kyodo) Osaka Securities Exchange Co. said Thursday it has acquired a 76.1 percent stake in Jasdaq Securities Exchange Inc. for about ¥5.33 billion, paving the way for the creation of a huge market for startups.

OSE launched the tender offer to convert the operator of the Jasdaq stock market for startup firms into a wholly owned subsidiary as early as next autumn.
