The outlook for most businesses in Japan is getting grimmer by the day as the highest inflation in a decade and climbing fuel prices pressure households to brace for recession.
But Katsuyoshi Ukon, a 67-year-old pioneer of handyman services in Tokyo, is oblivious to the nation's economic woes.
"We actually have more customers when economic conditions are bad," Ukon said. "A recession is more than welcome."
