The winning numbers for the New Year's postcard lottery were drawn here Sunday.
The first prize numbers, in which winners can choose from five items including a trip to Hawaii and a notebook personal computer, were 157788 and 457190. Japan Post says 7,650 cards bearing the first prize numbers were issued.
Holders of cards with the final four digits of 5161, 7093, 7485 and 9614 can choose from a selection of local specialties from around Japan. The third prize -- commemorative stamp sheets -- will go to holders of cards ending in 64 and 79.
The winning postcards can be redeemed for their prizes at any post office by July 17.
