Ten elementary school students and two teachers were slightly injured Tuesday when two of three sightseeing buses collided and were hit by a truck in Funabashi, Chiba Prefecture.
The accident occurred at around 2:30 p.m. on the Keiyo toll road between the city of Chiba and Edogawa Ward, Tokyo, when the second bus suddenly braked, causing the third one to run into it, police and fire officials said. The truck, which was behind the buses, hit the third bus. The first bus was not damaged.
