A supermarket manager and worker in Nagasaki Prefecture were arrested Monday on suspicion of selling U.S. beef falsely labeled as domestic.

Police said they arrested Kenji Ishiyama, 39, who manages one of the outlets run by Katori Store in the city of Omura, and worker Seiya Otouchi, 31, on suspicion of violating the Unfair Competition Prevention Law, which prohibits falsifying produce origins.
