Japan Post drew the winning numbers Sunday in the annual New Year's postcard lottery.
The winning number for first prize was 834131.
Winners can choose from a list of eight prizes, including a pair of tickets for a five-day trip to Hawaii, a liquid crystal display panel TV, and a DVD recorder and home theater set.
Second-place prizes go to holders of postcards with the numbers 24826 as the last five digits. Winners will choose from seven prizes, including a digital camera.
The third prize goes to holders of postcards with 4332 or 7237 as the last four digits. Winners can choose from a selection of local specialties from around the country.
The fourth prize -- an original letter kit -- goes to holders of cards with 411 as the last three digits. The fifth prize -- a sheet of 50 yen and 80 yen stamps -- goes to holders of cards ending with 10, 43 or 83.
Winners must bring their cards to a post office by July 20.
