Toy maker Takara Co. will purchase an auto circuit in Yamaguchi Prefecture from its failed operator for 230 million yen in October at the earliest, the auto circuit said Saturday.

The bankruptcy administrator of the operator, Central Park Yamaguchi, has chosen Takara from dozens of companies that had applied to buy the Mine Circuit in the city of Mine.

The administrator, which has reached a basic accord on the deal with the toy maker, has submitted an application to the Kobe District Court for approval of the business transfer, the auto circuit said.

Central Park Yamaguchi, along with its parent firm, failed in August last year.
