The Japanese and North Korean Red Cross societies agreed Sunday to arrange a homecoming visit in the fall for a group of Japanese spouses of North Koreans, Japanese officials said.

During Sunday’s talks, North Korea’s Red Cross Society presented a list of Japanese spouses for participation in the program. The two sides, however, have yet to thrash out the exact timing of the visit.
