MAEBASHI, Gunma Pref. – A 19-year-old woman abducted here over the weekend by a man who broke into her family’s home armed with what appeared to be a hunting gun was found safe Monday in neighboring Tochigi Prefecture, and her suspected abductor was arrested soon after, police said.
A group of hikers found Miwako Tsubaki, a technical school student who was taken from her parent’s home early Saturday morning during a robbery, walking alone down a mountain in Kanuma at around 1 p.m., police said.
