SAPPORO – A large snow sculpture of Kwanghwamun, a famous South Korean gate, will be one of the top attractions at the 53rd Sapporo Snow Festival slated for Feb. 5, officials of the festival’s executive committee said.
The 15-meter-high replica will honor the gate to commemorate the 2002 World Cup soccer finals Japan and South Korea will cohost from May 31 to June 30.
