KYOTO – A safe containing 100 million yen in cash was stolen from a moneylender’s office in Maizuru, Kyoto Prefecture, police said Monday.
Moneylender Akira Yoshimura, 49, found the 200 kg safe missing when he went to his office at around 4 p.m. Sunday. The door was unlocked. It was last confirmed locked at around 9 p.m. Saturday, police said.
