Dining show to boost refugee cause>Refugees International Japan is staging its 10th annual Art of Dining Exhibition at the Westin Tokyo hotel in Yebisu Garden Place on Monday to raise funds for needy refugees all over the world.

This year's event will feature 21 gorgeous and innovative table displays from leading designers and personalities in the media, the arts, private and business sectors.

The opening ceremony will begin at 9:45 a.m., followed by public viewing from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. A buffet lunch will be offered along with many door prizes donated by sponsors.

Charities to benefit from 'Othello'> Reitaku University English Drama Group will perform William Shakespeare's "Othello" on Saturday to raise funds for the Japan Times annual charity campaign.

The performance begins 5:30 p.m. at Toho Seimei Hall in Tokyo's Shibuya Ward and will be the 13th consecutive year that the drama group from Kashiwa, Chiba Prefecture, has performed in aid of the fundraising effort. Merwyn Torikian, of the university's English department, will direct the play.
