The operator of a so-called dating club in Tokyo's Toshima Ward has been arrested on suspicion of violating the Juvenile Welfare and Antiprostitution laws for allegedly introducing high school girls to customers for purposes of prostitution, police said Thursday.Police have taken into custody 14 high school girls who belonged to the club, they said.Mitsuhiro Miyashita, 35, was running the Art-B dating club out of his home, and he introduced member high school girls to his customers, using instant photo stickers of them, police said. About 200 high school girls had become members of the club, they said.The girls told police they wanted to live a rich life.Police said Miyashita was arrested for having a 17-year-old girl engage in sex with a 31-year-old customer at a hotel near the club April 11.Miyashita has operated similar clubs in Chiba Prefecture and Tokyo's Kinshicho district since 1995, and he had been given a suspended sentence for Antiprostitution Law violations.
