Tokyo: Fuji Matsuri

Fuji (wisteria) Flower Festival. There are over 50 wisteria roots in the shrine precincts, and they are usually in full bloom in this season.

Location: Kameido Tenjin Shrine, Koto-ku, Tokyo


Access:
(1) JR Sobu Line to Kameido Sta. (North Exit), and then walk 15 min. (2) JR Sobu Line or Tokyo Metro Hanzomon Line to Kinshicho Sta.(Z13)(North Exit), and then walk 15 min.


Festival information compiled in cooperation with the Tourist Information Center of the Japan National Tourist Organization. (Shin-Tokyo Bldg. 1F, 3-3-1 Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; (03) 3201-3331). Open 9 a.m.-5 p.m. daily.
