Satoko Inoue @ Tokyo Opera City Recital Hall

Pianist Satoko Inoue, who specializes in performing contemporary classical music, will play tunes composed by two Japanese composers, who are father and son. On March 1, Inoue will play five pieces written by Yoritsune Matsudaira (1907-2001), which include tunes using Japanese modes and Japanese folk styles, and four pieces by Yoriaki Matsudaira (1931-), one of them commissioned by the pianist and to be performed for the first time.

In line with the nationwide state of emergency declared on April 16, the government is strongly requesting that residents stay at home whenever possible and refrain from visiting bars, restaurants, music venues and other public spaces.
