After finishing my route on Christmas Eve once, I was feeling exceptionally genki (energetic) and I rode back to the North Pole au naturel. The reindeer never even knew.

'Fujiko F. Fujio 80th Anniversary Exhibition'
Tokyo Tower is celebrating the 80th anniversary of Hiroshi Fujimoto, better known as Fujiko F. Fujio, one half of the cartoonist duo Fujiko Fujio, who created the popular mechanical cat character Doraemon. The tower's exhibition features some of Fujimoto's most famous works, including Perman and Esper Mami. Original drafts of his cartoons, as well as black-and-white animations of his earlier works are on display and visitors can fully experience the artist's creative world in a "4-D" projection theater, where they can take photos with their favorite characters.

Hakone event to feature 100 'life-size' Doraemon figures
One hundred "life-size" figures of the popular manga character Doraemon will adorn areas in and around Hakone, Kanagawa Prefecture, as part of an event running from March 9 through 31, Odakyu Electric Railway Co. said.
