GANGNEUNG, SOUTH KOREA – Sprint queen Nao Kodaira credited compatriot and men’s figure skating repeat champion Yuzuru Hanyu for her explosive gold medal win in the women’s 500 meters at the Pyeongchang Winter Games on Sunday.
Kodaira’s new Olympic record time secured Japan’s second gold medal of the games, a day after Hanyu became the first men’s back-to-back figure skating champion in 66 years.
