The Seibu Lions have re-signed infielder Ernesto Mejia and right-hander Kuo Chun-lin for next season, the Pacific League team announced Wednesday.

Mejia, who led the league with 34 home runs in 2014, struggled during the first half of this season but recovered to hit .235 with 27 home runs and 89 RBIs in 135 games.

The slugger agreed to a deal worth ¥300 million plus performance bonuses.

Kuo ended his first year with the Lions with a 3-7 record and a 5.31 ERA in 21 appearances, mainly as a starter. He signed for ¥30 million plus incentives.
