Megumi Kido overcame two early bogeys to shoot a 1-over-par 73 on Saturday to move into a tie for the lead after the third round of the Japan Women's Open with China's Feng Shanshan

Kido bogeyed No. 1 and No. 3 in a three-birdie, four-bogey round.

"I didn't panic when I opened with those bogeys," Kido said. "Today there was no wind, the greens were soft and played slower than yesterday so with that in mind I went around the course thinking I was going to pick up some strokes. But this is still a hard setup and finally I had to realize that that had not changed one bit."
